The Old Taal Church was destroyed in the biggest eruption of Taal Volcano in 1754, earlier than Cagsawa. The ruins which are located in the present San Nicolas, Batangas include the walls of the old church. I don't know what the people of Batangas are doing in preserving the ruins. It is not promoted as a tourist destination, but it is the 'Cagsawa Church of Batangas'.
