Areas of Interest:

Naic is the hometown of Pascual Poblete, the first translator of Dr. Rizal's "Noli Me Tangere" and "El Filibusterismo." He was the author of the newspaper "El Grito del Pueblo" (Ang Tinig ng Bayan) during the American times. He had a column on Marcelo Del Pilar's newspaper.

Naic is also the place where the four major departments of President Emilio Aguinaldo's cabinet members were established, namely, the Departments of Justice, Finance, Defense, and Interior and Local Government. Location: Casa Hacienda de Naic beside the Naic Shrine

Naic is also the place where Bonifacio first underwent trial and was imprisoned (His bartolina still exists up to this day) Location: Casa Hacienda de Naic beside the Naic Shrine

Naic is also the place where Josephine Bracken sought refuge a year after Dr. Rizal's execution at Bagumbayan. Location: Casa Hacienda de Naic beside the Naic Shrine

Naic is also the place where D. Presbitero Modesto de Castro, the former parish priest of Naic (1857-1864) wrote his famous book "Urbana at Felisa" which became the best-selling book ever written in Tagalog beginning the late Spanish era up to the early American times. This made Fr. Modesto earn the title "Father of Philippine Prose." He was the renowned former rector of the Manila Cathedral (1856). Location: Convent of Naic.

Naic is also the site of the Battle of Timalan and Battle of Poblacion where Filipino revolutionaries won overwhelmingly against the Spaniards.

Naic is also the place where Aguinaldo designed his revolutionary flag "Sun of Liberty" patterned after the mythical sun located at the foot of the Blessed Virgin Mary enthroned in her shrine in Naic.

Naic houses the largest church in the province - the Diocesan Shrine of the Immaculate Conception which was established in 1796 and constructed by the Dominicans following the Neo-Gothic style - the only one in Cavite.

Naic is also the place of fishing industries and believed to be the "rice granary" of Cavite.

Naic is home to numerous well-known people such as George Canseco, the greatest Filipino balladeer. People who held important positions in the government such as Rosario Nazareno Lopez, former PCSO and SEC chairman, Dr. Ludgerio Torres, former President of Philippine Heart Center, Atty. Pilipina Arenas Laborte, one of the first lawyers in the Department of Justice, and many more.

Naic Shrine is declared as one of the Jubilee Churches of Cavite where pilgrims may gain plenary indulgence beginning 2011-2012
